This app requires the following permissions:

• The device and app logs are used to determine if the app is running in the background. This permission is no longer necessary to provide users with notifications and will be removed in an update.
• Identity is used to provide users with notifications for major news events, morning summaries, or news stories they choose to follow. This permission is no longer necessary to receive notifications and will be removed in an update.
• Location is used to provide users with regional news based on their location and include their position in news tips if they choose to provide it.
• Wi-Fi connection information is used to determine if the user has internet access.
• Camera and media/files are used to attach images or videos if the user utilizes the news tips feature.
